- Do you want to playfully discover the many different aspects of your identity?
- Do you want to explore your disowned “shadow” parts?
- Do you want to learn a form of art that cannot be done wrong AND will help you express your unique self?
- Do you want to identify your personal power and passions in life?
SoulCollage® is the fun, easy, and affordable way to do all of this and more!
SoulCollage® is an intuitive form of collage that everyone can use to access their inner wisdom and strength. Learning how to make a SoulCollage® card takes only minutes, but the insight that comes from working with a card can last a lifetime.
Seena Frost, the creator of SoulCollage®, describes SoulCollage® as:
“…a creative and satisfying collage process.
You make your own deck of cards – each collage card
representing one aspect of your personality or Soul.
Use the collage cards intuitively to answer life’s questions
and participate in self-discovery.
Joyfully deepen your understanding of the relationships
between your personality parts, you and your family/community/world,
and you and your dreams, symbols, and Spirit.”
Working with collage images quickly accesses deeply held beliefs that may be hard to express with words alone. Simply let the images speak to you. Some will attract you and some will repel you. Both reactions are equally important and should be honored.
The images that attract us are likely to symbolize parts of us that we are most comfortable with and share with the world around us. The images that repel us may represent our shadow self and be the parts that we feel uncomfortable with and try to deny.
- Question: I am not an artist, can I still do SoulCollage®?
Answer: Yes! Not everyone can be a great artist, but everyone has artistic abilities. Baking, journaling, gardening, and playing with young children are just a few forms of art that are often discredited. SoulCollage® is a method of art that nearly everyone can quickly learn to enjoy.
- Question: How much training do I need to learn SoulCollage®?
Answer: If you passed kindergarten you can do SoulCollage®! All you need to do is be able to use a glue stick and cut with scissors. Even people with limited mobility or physical impairments can enjoy SoulCollage® with the help of an assistant. E-mail Holly Carol at Soul-Paths to discuss your specific needs.
- Question: What supplies do I need to do SoulCollage®?
Answer: Workshop participants will be provided with the required 5” x 8” blank cards, glue sticks, and hundreds of collage images taken from magazines. Additional blank cards may be purchased for a small fee. Fine tipped scissors will also be available for those who do not own a pair, but it recommended that you bring your favorite with you. Bone folders and brayers are recommended, but optional, items to bring.
